Polynesian connecting rooms

We are going soon and have two Polynesian studios rented. We placed a request to have connecting rooms when we booked 8 months ago but should we call again to confirm request? I know it’s not a guarantee but I heard it’s very likely we will be able to have connecting rooms. Anyone stayed at Polynesian DVC and NOT had their connecting room request honored? Thanks!

Since Poly rooms were just reg rooms before, almost all of rooms are connecting .
Should not be a issue.

As long as the owner put the request in with Member Services, it should not be an issue. A large number of Poly studios have connecting doors to a neighboring studio. Unfortunately, as a renter you cannot call Member Services yourself to confirm that the request has been made.

DVC Poly has 360 studios. Two of them have no connection to another studio. Every one of the other 358 studios connects to another studio. If a request for connecting studios is made, it is highly likely to be met. If the previous connecting-studios request was made through the member and the member put in the request, you need do nothing further.

How did you submit your request? If it was over the phone, I might send an email or chat with MS just to make sure it's on your reservations. You'll need to give them both confirmation numbers, of course.

We stayed at the Poly 2 weeks ago and had connecting studios between our two rooms. I believe they were requested.

Do you find that most connecting room reservations are given Pago Pago?
