I'm thinking of staying at the Poly concierge (Lagoon view) this summer.

Does a lagoon view room have a balcony?

What are the food offerings in the lounge throughout the day? Thanks for any help. Any opinions are also appreciated.

I am going to the poly too! You should go look at Tikiman's website on the poly, it will answer all your questions. I have posted the website here

It has great pictures and great info

I believe that most of the longhouses do not have balconies on the second floor, but there are one or two that do.

Enjoy his site, its great

The hawawii building is under construction so the concerige is now being moved to the tahaiti bulding, which DOES have balconies on all floors ;) .

Food is served bascially at meal times, with a small offering of drinks / refreshments daily the lounge is open all day. Unless that changes with the move to tahiti.

Don't miss tikiman's site. Everything is listed there. Also search this site for tikiman's thread's. Steve is full of poly knowledge!

Yep, this summer the Hawaii longhouse will be under refurbishment, the news is they will be holding concierge in Tahiti, which is a great longhouse too!

It is one of the newer ones, so there are balconies on both the 2nd and 3rd floor! plus ofcourse patios on the ground level.
The lagoon view is wonderful, I stayed in Tahiti once, lagoon view, you have the beach on front of you, and a view of the lagoon, Castle, space mountain, Grand Floridian, Contemporary.. it is just wonderful!

the morning is a vast array of continental breakfast.. bagels, english muffins, donuts, fruit, oatmeal..coffee, juice....

Then there is cookies and a soda, water during the day,
the evening offers a great variety of hordeuvres, and wine, beverages...
then late night is an assortment of pastries, and cordials, coffee, and they have cappucino and espresso (you have to ask for it)

Have fun!!
