Polynesian 40% off & Dining Plan?

I booked The Polynesian with my 40 % off Room only PIN. Will I be able to add tickets and a dining plan without losing my discount?

Sorry. You're creating a package by doing that (and actually, I think the CM would have to cancel your room-only ressie and start over).

When I followed the link to book (or look!) I scrolled down on the page where you select your hotel and added park tickets and Dining. Now this was before I actually would have paid, but why would they not want you to also add these things to your room ?
I believe you just can't combine discounted room and discounted dining.

You can't get free or discounted dining, but you can get tickets and pay for dining. I'm pretty sure that the last trip DH and I took (Poly @ 40% off, too ) I bought the base tickets (no parkhopping that time) and I know that I had the dining plan, too. Things might have changed but you can ask when you book it. Good luck, and HAVE FUN. I'd be going, but youngest is off to University this year, so she has priority.

in the past it has alwas been one or the other. Given that it is a deluxe rate, you are probably better off going with your room only code...if in a value the free dining would more than likely be the better deal. You have to get at least 1 day ticket per person in the dining deal so keep in mind if you already have tix or find a discount deal. You can however, save that 1 day ticket for any future trips as long as you do not activate it.

Yes you can. We did it 2 years ago when I got a room only pin and my friend is doing it now for a Dec trip. She got her room with Pin and added tickets but hasn't added dining yet. MS told her she could add it on at a later date.

when we got the 40% off pin, I called Disney and we booked the room at the 40% off . The CM asked if we wanted to add dining plan and park tickets... we did. We added deluxe dining and 8 day w/ park hoppers. (these were not at a discount). but yes, you can make a package, but only the room will be at the discount. It's really very easy..... we were lucky enough to get a fantastic CM. She was on the phone w/ me for about 1/2 hour while we planned out everything.

One tip.... I went out to Disney's website and priced out the whole trip for everything we were getting..... .then I took the 40% off the room price. That way, we knew exactly (or there abouts) what the amount for the package was supposed to be. she came out to the exact same thing within pennies. it's better to be prepared, that way you know they're on the same page as you.

In February my wife was able to get the discount on the room. She added the tickets and dining later on (deluxe actually as a gift for us). So yes it can be done, but each component is separate, not a "package".

Did you price out the 40% on a CL room by any chance? It was a wonderful treat for us! Hope you have a great vacation.

yes we did it in the spring. used the 40% off on the room and added dining and tickets at regular cost
