Poly vs DVC Afric Vill.

We are planning to go to Dis in Dec of this year. I am now seeking input on which resort would be best for that time of year, weather etc?
I am celebrating my 40th that month.

AKV are currently only open in Jambo House which is the building that houses AKL. Sometime in 2009, the Kidani Village will open which will house additional DVC villas.

I had the same dilemma but fortunately got the 40% off code so now we're splitting our stay-4 nights at the Poly and 4 nights at AKV and going in October. If we were going in December, we'd probably stay ay AKV as it often too cool for pools so you can't take advantage of Poly pools, it's less crowded in December so getting around to the parks from AKV should be pretty quick, and the animals are more active in cooler weather...
