Heading should have read: Poly Valet

This will be our first trip renting a car so we are trying to get a good understanding of what our best options are. My son is HC and uses a wheelchair. We have ADR for Ohana's Breakfast. I heard that HC parking at MK is very long walks and not very user friendly so I planned on just driving to Poly and using valet, then taking the monorail to MK. My question is how long we can leave the car with valet. If we stay for the evening EMH is that going to be a problem? Is there an attendant 24/7? I would hate to leave my car that morning and not be able to pick it back up. We thought about the buses, but they are just to much for my son to handle so that is no longer an option for us.

You can leave the car there all day/night parking valet. There is someone available all the time to pick up/deliver valet parked vehichles.

A the PP said, you can leave your car with valet as long as you want. There will be someone at the valet station at all hours. The one caveat is the price. I've heard conflicting information, but the BW valet station said the system rolls at midnight. So if you are still parked passed midnight, you'll be charged for 2 days. The GF station said that it depends on when your drop the car off; if you arrive at dinner and don't pick-up the car until after midnight, you'll only be charged one day. So, I don't know when EMH ends, but be prepared to pay for 2 days of valet is it runs past midnight.

Also, if you do park at valet, keep your receipt. You can use valet at any Disney resort for the rest of the day without paying again. For example, if you go to 1900PF for breakfast and valet, then you can take your car to the Poly and valet again within having to pay a second time. You'll need to trip, but at least you won't have to pay the base fee a second time.

Yes, valet is constantly manned and you shouldn't have problems there. The monorail access is on the second floor so you'll have to use the smallish elevator at the back right as you enter the lobby.

This may be a good solution but folks on the disabilities are likely to have recommendations and solutions that those of us on this board who have less experience with accommodations wouldn't know about or think about. So, if you haven't done so already I'd suggest that you ask about this there.

Unless something has changed in the past few weeks valet parking with a HC tag or plates (and I am assuming the OP has that since mentioning HC parking in the original post) is free at the resorts.

Tipping is never included, though, and as a driver with a handicap placard, I tend to tip generously.
