Poly Torch Lighting

Well, I was looking forward to seeing this on our trip, but is it only available certain days? I read somewhere that it is only Tues-Sat? Is that always the case? Thanks!

Yes, the other days you get to watch the guy drive around in the cart and light the torches by leaning over.

When we were there a couple of weeks ago, the torchlighting was held everyday except Sunday (his day off, maybe??!!). It is held in the Great Ceremonial Hall. We walked in on the tail end of the ceremony one night and it seemed to be very popular as there was a fairly large crowd watching.

Wow, I just stayed there and I had no clue this went on!!!

Tuesday - Saturday at 6:00 PM starting in the GCH and heading out to the front of the resort is the tourch lighting ceremony where they start off singing and go into a fire dance and lighting of the tourches.
