Whats the best way to get from the Polynesian to Wilderness Lodge?

I would monorail to contemporary, then take boat to WL....or you could boat to MK then boat to WL....but I think it would be less busy to do the Monorail/boat combo.

Plan a minimum of 1.5 hours. It is a fun trip, but takes time.

I agree it's a fun trip!

When we go to the WL we take either the resort launch or the monorail to the MK. Then we take the boat from the MK to WL.

We usually do the return the same way but our last trip a few years ago we did the Campground/CR boat. My dh finally got to see Rover Country. We weren't in a rush as it was a non park day.

I'd respectfully disagree about the 1.5 hours, it really shouldn't take you that long unless you just have horrible luck with waiting for a boat or monorail. I've done the boat to MK then boat to WL, I don't remember how long it took but no way it was 1.5 hours. FWIW, if you are in a rush to get to WL you can always cab from Poly to WL and take the boat/boat or boat/monorail combo back. That plan works well for say, a dinner, where you can be on a more leisurely pace at the end of the evening.
