Poly Room Request?

Myself and 3 friends are going to WDW in about 6 weeks. We will be staying at the Polynesian and are wondering if there are any room recommendations? We have been to WDW many, many times, but we normally stay at the Contemporary or the Boardwalk. Our current view is a Garden View, but if the recommendation calls for a lagoon view and is great, we may upgrade. Thanks for any advice you might have. Mickey, Here we come!!!
