Poly room refreshes under way and volcano pool

It appears that Hawaii has closed this week as planned for room refreshes. It should last about 4-6 weeks. They will be moving to other buildings with some overlap of times and all buildings should be done by about the end of August with Rapa Nui apparently scheduled as the last building. Each building will be completely closed while its refresh is going on and guests will not be inconvenienced.

They are now saying that the volcano pool will be closed for 10 days starting Feb 28. This is apparently just for regular maintenance. No major refurb is planned at this time.

Thanks for the update. We will be back at the Poly in December trying CL there for the first time and are excited to see the refurbed rooms .

Yes Hawaii is the CL building. That is what they are doing now

We are staying CL in October. Can't wait to see the refreshed rooms.

I am so glad the buildings will be closed. We were there in 2005 when they were renovating & we were in the building that they were doing work on. It did not make for fun mid day naps. So we asked & they moved us to another building & we were able to see the high fireworks at the MK.

When they "refresh" the rooms, do they also replace the mattresses??

i can't wait to see the new rooms! i wonder if they will do what the beach club and wilderness lodge did and keep the bed frame but use a white bedspread with a blanket at the end? i wonder if this is a new disney trend?
