Hello, I've just registered today. Though I've been reading the boards for advice since last year at this time (before our trip last February). I decided to join today though, because I just booked an impromtu trip in Dec. thanks to an email code in my inbox this morning!

So I've booked Garden view at the Poly, I'm considering sending a fax to ask for room requests like NS, 3rd floor in Tokelau possibly (I've heard it's a relatively quiet building.

So I'm wondering if any of you who've been there before have any thoughts on what might be a good quiet spot... is it worth it to put specific room requests on the fax if I send one???

Any thoughts would be appreciated!!
Thanks

Hi and Welcome! We stayed in Tokelau (3911) on our recent stay. Loved the building and location. I had requested Tahiti and glad we didn't get it. Tokelau was very quiet but not really far away from anything. You can ask for a specific location but it's down to luck (and the CM who checks you in) if you get it or not. I honestly don't think I would be unhappy with any room at the Poly! It's a wonderful resort. Enjoy your trip!

Hi and Welcome! We stayed in Tokelau (3911) ...

We just returned from a week in room 3932 and I agree it was a great location and QUIET! It's next to the quiet pool and not too bad of a walk right to the Epcot monorail at the TTC.

The Poly has been one of our favorite hotels for over a decade and this past trip was no exception. The staff is wonderful and their Mousekeeping staff is probably the best on property.

The right location for you is up to what you like. Just let the person checking you in know what you're looking for in your room's location and they'll do their best to accomidate you.

I really appreaciate it. 3911 was one I was actually considering asking for :)
Well 3911-3913 on advice another thread. Probably everyone who saw that is asking for the same rooms. ;)

Well I won't hold my breath, but hopefully we'll be more then happy with any room we get. After all it's Christmas and Disney!!

I recently returned from the Poly in August. We stayed in Rarotonga and absolutely loved it. We were on the first floor facing quiet pool. Also a very quiet building. We are planning on going again next year and staying at the Poly. I was glad to read about the recommendations for Tokelau - we will keep that building in mind.
