We're a family fo 6 - 2 adults and 4 kids (between 8 and 17). We'd like to stay a few days at the Polynesian Resort. Is renting two rooms the only way for us to go or is there another option(s) that will work for us? Thank you!

With a party that size will absolutely need two rooms unless you’re looking at the bungalows or suites and both are very costly.
Renting points are staying DVC side in two rooms might help with costs.

Thank you both for the quick replies! I was figuring we would likely need two rooms but wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking anything. Cheers!

FYI, if you end in a DVC/Villa studio, all of them connect to another room so the chances of getting a request for connecting rooms are reasonably good. Not guaranteed of course, but the odds are in your favor.

There are no two bedroom villas at the Polynesian in the DVC villas. They only have the bungalows that also sleep eight, but there are only two real beds, one king, one queen, plus one queen sleeper sofa and two bunk sized murphy beds. The studios only sleep five with one queen bed, one queen sleeper sofa and one bunk sized murphy bed.
