Poly pool rehab

Anybody been to the Polynesian since the refurbishment has begun on the pool? I know it is scheduled to be done by mid-March, I'm just hoping it's on schedule. Anybody know anything?? TIA.

How extentive is the refurb? We are leaving in a couple days and I was wondering how loud the work around the pool will be.....should I stay away from Volcano view rooms upon check in?

they don't have it closed for enough days for this to be a major rehab.

'The Nanea Volcano pool will be closed from 2/11 - 3/15/08 '

so probably just checking to make sure no cracks - and if some fix them.
