Poly pool refurb????

Just saw on the new Mousesavers newsletter that the GF slide will be closed at the same time the Poly slide is closed. Now what are we supposed to do?

I've actually switched my reservation to BC after deliberation (I have teens a pool slide is a must). However, in making my decision I asked WDW Guest Services (not regular reservations) a number of questions including whether the Grand Floridian pool slide was also going to be shut at same time as being reported on the internet. According to Guest Services, there were no alerts for the GF slide being closed and she called over to the resort itself and they had no knowledge of it. Unless something has changed since the time of my conversation (about 2 weeks ago but Mousesavers was already reporting it then), the GF slide rumor may just be erroneous info on the part of Mousesavers.

Seems like they are bringing people to GF pool slide these days. It is already the 14th and nobody has reported work on the slide. could it on the list? perhaps. but, remember how many times poly slide work pushed back. i'd suggest you write to guest services with your concerns (there is a form on the disneyworld site). they seem to be pretty knowledgeable - the letter they wrote to me regarding the volcano slide was the most accurate piece of info put out there by any disney personnel at the time about the closing. When I continued to write questions to them (I stayed nice about it and did not resort to being mean) they contacted me by phone and have continued to stay in contact with me.
