Poly pool music, available on CD?

Okay, I admit it, I need it. I really really need the Poly pool music for my iPod!

Does anyone know for sure if they have a CD of it available to buy? If they do I'll call Disney direct and have them ship it. but if you have the cd and you know the name, please post it because I've scoured the net and I can't find it.

If I know that they have it in the gift shop (that it's the same music by the pool- i thought they had one called 'sounds of Hawaii" or something but I don't know if it's the same one) I will call and have mail order send it.

There are two versions of the same loop (called, aptly, Polynesian Loop 1 and 2) that are the same 50-something minute loop of traditional music. During my last trip there (2006), I couldn't find the music anywhere. When I got home, I searched the Internet constantly.

Thankfully, I found a hosting site where someone had catalogued tons of WDW music. The person who had them, had EVERYTHING! I'm talking background music from all the parks, all the resorts, the wake-up calls, even the welcome, and delay messages from BTMRR.

Unfortunately, those postings were taken down about 2 months after I found them. Maybe someone from Disney raised a copyright issue?

I am sure that many of us would gladly pay Disney for the rights to have this music legally. In the meantime, I guess we will all just have to check our search engines on a daily basis.

thank you so much! Maybe if enough people ask for it they'll put it out there for sale. . .but then I guess it is for sale technically you get it when you pay for your room at Poly but you have to go there to hear it LOL

Mine too. I just found out that he can "occasionally" be seen at Innoventions West at Epcot. Can't believe he is not regularly at the china pavilion...
