Poly or Boardwalk Villas??

I recently used my postcard to book a week in Disney. I plan on ending the trip with 3 nights at the GF because its our favorite (and now affordable with the discount) and it would be nice to end the trip at the nicest resort.

Not sure where to stay the first 4 nights though. I put in a ressy for the Poly garden view, but I was thinking it may be more fun to stay in the Epcot area for first half of trip. Unfortunately, only Boardwalk Villas are open (YC/BC/BWI/BCV) has NO availability with the discount code for 1/29 to 2/2.

What would you do - Poly Garden or Boardwalk Villas standard view??? Its just me and my girlfriend (no kids).

I have never stayed in at the Poly, but we are DVC members that own at BWV.

Since you are staying at the GF to end your trip, I think staying at the BWV for the first part is a great idea.

You will enjoy being able to walk (or boat) to EPCOT and MGM. There are plenty of great places to eat on the Boardwalk and lots of entertainment.

I assume you are getting a studio room, which will be slightly smaller then the rooms at the Poly, but you will have a microwave and small refrig.

The standard view does look out towards the parking lots, but the view is still very good. Request a room on the top floor and you may be able to see fireworks from EPCOT.

One note...The hallways at BWV can be long, so if you have a problem walking request a room near the elevator.

BW Villas, definitely. During such a busy time of year, you will appreciate being so close to the parks. Plus it will be nice having the extras in a villa.
