Our family went to the Luau last March. I believe it was approximately $170 for a family of five. At the time our children were all considered children's ages. We had a great time that night! We went to the 2nd show. We made our reservations 5 months out and we got a front row seat/table. We heard afterwards that they assign seats according to reservations. Anyway, it was worth it! Our children LOVED the show. I remember it was chilly that night and the waitress went above and beyond to make our children warmer! She offered to make them hot chocolate and brought them an assortment of different child friendly foods! When she saw our oldest daughter not eating enough of the adult food, she offered to bring her a PB and J or macaroni and cheese too! I liked going to the 2nd showing, but I am sure the first show was good too. It was a full crowd for both shows that night in March. We aren't going to go again on our next trip, but that's because we're choosing to do different things! Enjoy it and make your reservation soon!! Since you pay up front (over the phone) it feels good when you actually go and don't have to pay that night. Be prepared though, they take pictures of you every chance they get at Disney, and then bring the photos to your table during the show hoping you'll buy them!! (it includes keychains and magnets too!)
