Poly drinks quetion

Last year I got the Lupa, Lupa at Ohana's and te backscratcher, we went to the Lau and I saw a coconut drink there but did not order it (did not want to offend those who were with us). Can I get that coconut drink at Ohana? I am not planning on going back to the Lau (wasn't that impressed) but want the drink. Any ideas?

I got that drink @ the luau - it comes in a souvenir carved coconut head (still have it here at home). I'm not sure if they do those at the lounge or not. It was at least $15-16. I can't remember the price of the Lapu Lapu - is that close to the same? Anyway, I forget what the drink was - so I think it was fairly forgettable, IMO.

That drink the the Pele's Fire Punch and is only served at the Luau.

Anyone know if we can request it, even if its not on the menu?

I know you didn't ask for it, but I found the recipe.. You might be able to get the bartender at Tambu Lounge to make this without the coconut glass..

Pele's Fire Punch

1 part Bacardi Light Rum
1 part Myers Dark Rum
1 part Banana Liqueur ( I like 99 Bananas)
1 part Blackberry Brandy ( I prefer Leroux)
3 parts Pineapple Juice
Splash of grenadine


Combine and shake. Serve over ice in your hand carved coconut monkey of course. Okay, okay-serve it on what ever you have and garnish with a cherry and an orange slice at least
