POLY construction and which Building

Is there any current construction for the Poly for the month of October and was looking for advise on which building we are in a GV room...a balcony is very important to us whether it be ground floor or other....it has been years since we have stayed here, hoping it is just as wonderful as it was then......

When my family and I went to visit the Polynesian last month the only construction we saw was on the outside where the Monorail station is, so I don't think any of the buildings are being worked in since all the room renovations have been completed for a while now.

There is no construction going on at the Poly and I haven't seen anything that indicates there would be any in October.

If a balcony is really that important to you just request a 3rd floor room since all third floor rooms have balconies.

We just stayed at the Poly 8/17-8/25. No constructtion going on at any of the buildings while we were there. all of the rooms were refurbished over the past year or so and I think that ended earlier this year.

When I made my ressies (Garden View) I requested Samoa 1st or 3rd floor with Volcano pool view. I wanted to try and get a balcony or patio. We were lucky and got 1st floor Samoa facing the Volcano Pool. We had a wonderful time and everybody at the resort was helpful and nice.

Samoa building was my first pick due to it's proximity to the Volcano Pool, Captain Cooks and the great Ceremonial House. It's not far from the bus stop either.

My second pick was Niue for the same reasons.

My Third pick was Raratonga because of it's proximity to the GCH & bus stop. It is also close to the quiet pool and the Neverland Club (Child care).
