Poly building

We are staying at the Poly for 4 nights in early Dec. (after 3 nights in ASMo), and have requested Tokelau because of the location and because it's nonsmoking (DD8 has asthma ), BUT I've read it may be undergoing renovations in the near future.

If this is the case, which other buildings would you recommend for GV?

FYI: We have 2 DD (8 & 5) and, again, would require nonsmoking.

The best Garden-view building (location-wise) on the 39 acre Polynesian grounds is Samoa. It's smack-dab in the center of EVERYTHING. I would suggest that one.

If you prefer Lagoon-View, I would've suggested Hawaii before they went concierge. Now, I'd have to say Tahiti (for it's views of the castle).......unless of course you're a concierge kind of person.

Is Samoa nonsmoking?

I was thinking about going to concierge...this is our first trip though, so I already feel like I'm spending sooo much...

Samoa is non-smoking.

To save money, instead of going concierge, simply rent an in-room refrigerator for $10/night. You can fill it with a whole bunch of drinks and snacks for a fraction of the concierge price (unless you just like walking down a hallway to get your snacks). Then you can spend all of the money saved on more souvenirs.

Like Tokelau, Tahiti has some of the largest rooms, balconies on both the 2nd and 3rd floors, has its own beach, and with Rapa Nui is the closest to the TTC. Its also the farthest walk from/to the GCH.
