We are staying at the Polynesian for the first time in June. We have a regular room booked, not DVC. Do any of the regular room buildings have balconies on the upper floors? Thanks!

Floor 3 will, floor 2 will have doors that open op to a railing.

Yes, 3rd floor has balconies, but 2nd floor does not.

My favorite longhouse is Niue, 1st floor facing the main pool. It was fantastic! Beautiful grounds and a huge patio. 1st floor rooms have patio's and 3rd floor have balconies.

Niue only has two stories.

If there is a third floor, yes, it will have a balcony. If a longhouse only has two floors, like Niue, the second floor does NOT have a balcony.

Awesome! We really enjoy having a personal balcony to enjoy sitting out there while relaxing in the evenings and wanted to request one. Thank you for the information!

FYI, I had a first floor room two weeks ago for the first time, had always had third floor prior to that. Depending on which longhouse you're in, first floor patios can be really nice as well.

Oh my goodness! This is so right. WE had requested balconies, but it was nto a priority, we wanted connecting rooms. My son, the schmoozer, arrived first and checked us in, so he discussed all of this with teh CM at the desk. She placed us on the first floor with patios, because there were no connecting rooms on an upper floor available. Okay, no problem. SHe told him that the family woudl be very happy, and we certainly were! He went back and thanked her. The patio was like an additional living space.
