Polo Resort Question

We're thinking about possibly using points to stay at the Polo Villas next spring vacation. Has anyone stayed there? Has anyone even seen the resort? Is it in good condition? Nice? Of course, the pictures looked nice, but it could be different in person. We've never been to Las Vegas. It seems to be in a central location on the strip according to the map on their web site. Is this correct? Are they two bedroom villas? Or can we use a different amount of points for different sized rooms.

We've never stayed in any place besides BW, our home resort or WLV, so this is a big decision for us.

I'm not sure how the "Polo Towers" and "Polo Villas" differ? I know they are part of the same resort, I am just not sure.....but, I used to stay at the Polo Towers a LOT, and I highly recommend it!! I used to be a flight attendant (Southwest), and that used to be one of our crew hotels. It seems they made a deal for the unused studio portions. It is on the "good" end of the strip...very close to the MGM. The rooms are a little small, but VERY nice!! The lobby is also small, but it is beautiful.

The ONLY bad thing I can say about this place is that it is right behind a "strip mall" on the strip...but, it is a beautiful resort right in the middle of all the action!!

I don't know much about the resorts in Vegal but do know that the Polo resorts have both been removed from the DVC list.

Thanks for all the information. I was encouraged until I read Dean's post. Hmmm, I guess it's back to the drawing board for the spring vacation. I wonder what happened.

They are below DVC standards. Some of the other choices there may be better anyway but many are not directly on the strip.
