On our stay at SSR, the unit next to ours had a cat in it. I would have reported them had I found out earlier.They were only next to us 2 nights. These were the same people who did not take in the balcony furniture during the hurricane till the last minute.
I can't believe someone would be that rude as to sneak a cat into SSR. I also would have reported them. I hope the next famlies staying in that room don't have cat dander allergies. Cat dander can last for a long time and is very difficult to remove (as several allergists have told me). Something like that could really ruin another families vacation.
