Poll: Which is your favourite resort?

If you had to choose just one DVC resort to stay in for the remeinder of your trips which would it be?!

It's funny the way that the question was worded. If I had to stay at the resort for the remainder of my trips I would have to choose OKW. I've got to go to WDW every year! But if you just wanted to know my favorite resort based on the resort itself then I would choose Vero. This resort is fantastic and has the best CMs I've ever encountered.

Of course, we're biased as BWV members. We LOVE the activity there, the easy access to EPCOT, walks around the lake, nearby hotels (Swan,Dolphin,and Y&B club), and easy pool hopping. OKW is indeed beautiful and tranquil but a little too laid back and isolated for us.

THis could just as well have been a post about where did you purchase! Most of us choose our home resort because we chose it for membership.

This poll should only be open to those members who have STAYED at all 5 DVC resorts. Otherwise everyone will choose their home resorts.

Good point, but still a hard choice. Have stayed at both BW and WL, both are fantastic, each with unique features. The kids prefer the BW pool (besides SAB) and I prefer the closeness of the BW to the Epcot and MGM, as well as Fantasia. WL is a more relaxing resort, away from the business of the BW. But I put my vote in for BW.

We are just discussing this now - DH and oldest DS are so crazy about BWV that I'm having a hard time talking them into doing the Disney cruise for four days on our next trip! IF I have to pick one (and the great part is that I don't have to pick just one) my favorite is BWV based on the wonderful atmosphere, location, and main pool - although Wilderness Villas also look beautiful (never been there tho) and OKW is very relaxing (was there as a non-member but also loved it).

Having stayed at all 3 properties on WDW...I'd have to pick BWV's. Bought sight unseen prior to staying there. We are so glad we did. All the resorts offer differant options which makes DVC so great. But we often think how lucky we are that we bought at BW as each time we have stayed somehwere else we miss it terribly.

I voted VWL. Of course, this is all personal taste. I love the more heavily themed resorts (Poly, AKL, WL), so VWL is right up my alley. VWL is likely my wife's and my favorite resort on property...DVC or regular resort. The story line of the railroad hotels is steeped in history, and the theming is truly exquisite.

Voted for OKW.Biased for VB. But since we're close to it part of the year anyway, we could do without it if it meant giving up staying onsite.Yikes thats hard to say.

I've stayed at all of the resorts, and own at 3 of them. Even so, I can't pick my favorite. They all have something special about them, and we stay at different ones based on the vacation we are taking at the time. But if you held a gun to my head and made me choose, I think I'd pick HH.

We own at BWV and we like it very much, but after Disney added WLV we have never gone back to BWV! We always stay during the low season and have never had a problem getting a reservation 7 months out. We like to relax on vacation and the WLV provides that atmosphere for us. We are empty nesters, so we do the "adult" disney. If we want action, we go to Pleasure Island for the evening. There's nothing like the feeling you get the first time you walk in the lobby of the WL! Even when we take our children (mid twentys) they prefer the WLV to the other DVC homes. Another plus for WLV is the boat to the Contemporary. We love to see the fireworks from the CA Grill or the outside viewing area. We also take the monorail to other resorts for dinner from the Contempory. Then the boat back to WLV. So many options, so much fun!!

There's a jump from 12/11/2001 to 12/14/2002, this thread started over a year ago. No wonder BCV isn't listed. Can it be added?

I think we would need an entire new poll, as some members who now like BCV the best, likely voted for the one of the others before BCV was built.
