Like many others, I *love* reading the trip reports!! It's going to be a long while before I can get to the World (2007), so I enjoy living vicariously through others via their trip reports! :teeth: I really appreciate that so many DISers are willing to take the time to take note while on their vacations of what they did, ate & saw. Not to mention the time it takes to write it all out (then proof-read, make changes, proof-read again, make more changes, show it to DSO to make sure it looks good, make more changes even though they said it looked great.... ).

I've noticed some post their reports in one thread, and others create a new thread for each day of their report. I'm just curious how you, the people of the DIS, prefer to read the reports?

My personal preference is to have an entire report in one thread (although, certainly not in one post ;) ). That way, I can subscribe to that thread and know when it has been updated as opposed to having to search through the TR board, or search the OP's posts to check to see if a new day is up yet.

(I really mean no offense to anyone. When it comes down to it, I love reading the reports no matter how they are posted.)

It doesn't really matter - but I find it easier if it is all in one thread.

:)

I am planning our first trip ever to WDW. Reading the trip reports helps a lot with planning. There is so much information in trip reports. I appreciate the time and effort the authors give up just so we can read how their trips were. I find it easier to read reports that are on one thread with links to each part of the trip. :flower:

I'm pretty inexperienced with boards like this so I'm not always sure how to find various parts of reports. So, I absolutely LOVE those posts that have direct links to the next part of a trip report and those that have links to all the related trip reports.

One Thread, with a Separate Post for Each Day!!!!!!!

I LOVE reading trip reports! I HATE not being able to find the different threads or having to do searches to find them.

I prefer the one thread posts too, but if they are separate then a catchy title along with Day 1, Day 2, etc. is helpful. For example, the current thread "Da Trip" is easy to find..the title makes it stand out. BUT, I don't say this to be overly picky....I LOVE all reports and will take the time to find each part, no matter the format!

I like seperate threads for each day...that way the other posters comments only pertain to the one day (most of the time).

I REALLY REALLY appreciate it when people put links to all of their trip report threads in their signature. That is a HUGE help, when waiting for the next day's reports.
