Poll! Since MYW, Is General Public Opting NOT to Get Hopping?

Is the General Public Opting to Hop?

  • Yes, it Seems like "Regular" People are Opting Out of Hopping

  • No, I Think People are Still Getting the Hopping Option

  • I Don't Know, But I Still Hop!

  • I Don't Know, but I Don't Hop Anymore!

Just wondering if you think more of the "general public" is opting NOT to get the Hopper option on their tickets now due to the MYW plan? It seems like DIS'ers seem to mainly say that they still get the Hopping option, but I'm wondering if "regular" people are deciding not to bother since they have a choice now.

I'm not sure about other folks, but we didn't get the park hopper option in November.

I had always been planning to buy the Park Hoppers...even before I started reading these boards. We will be in the parks for 5 days and I want to make the most of our day and not have to worry if we want to go to a different park in the evenings. :)

Hopping will be something I will always add on my pass... You miss to much without it (in my opinion)

I agree, I will always get the hopping added with to our tickets.

I think probably people who don't go every year or every other year are less likely to purchase park hoppers.

Here is a perfect example of why I will continue to get hoppers... we went to WDW at the end of JAN/beginning of FEB. We went to Animal Kingdom our first day and Expedition Everest was not open. I was disappointed, but still had a lot of fun. 3 days later we found out Expedition Everest WAS open...because we had hoppers we were able to go back and experience EE then visit another park afterward! WOOHOO for Hoppers!

:confused3 What was the situation before MYW? How is MYW different from what was available before?

It used to be a standard feature on all tickets (other than single day admissions).

We'll always get hoppers. I honestly cannot remember a single day on ANY of my trips when we were only in one park on one day. We always go to one park in thh morning and another one in the afternoon or at night.
