Poll on buying VAKL

I started a poll about CRV, so I suppose I should ask the same questions of VAKL.

Same here. I would want the 11-month window to book a guaranteed savannah view. If there are no savannah views, or there are but they are not a separate (guaranteed) booking category, then I wouldn't buy points there and would just take my chances at the 7-month window.

Same here, also. While views don't normally make or break my Disney vacations, I think part of the magic at this resort is the savannah views.

Voted maybe-only if they make a walking trail or dredge a canal for a boat to AK. Dont like counting on buses for everything.

Assuming there are savannah view rooms we may purchase a small add on. We already have enough points but if having a home resort advantage would mean anything we may buy a small contract - enough for a 1-2 bedroom for a few days every 2-3 years.

Ditto here but as other's said there would need to be the savannah rooms at VAKL!! And I haven't even booked our first trip!!!

I don't think we'd buy VAKL, but mostly because we don't need more points. And unlike some fair weather VWL fans, we aren't about to be partin' with any of our current points!!


Of course, I'd never say never to buying there. I does have a nice WL wannabe lobby.

That was kind of what I thought was happening on the other threads. It's the reason I did both polls.

No, we wouldn't buy AKLV. But I would definately try it out!

Nothing official here just a feeling based on bits and pieces I have been told, I think all the villas will have a Savannah view or some sort. My understanding is it is to be built to the left of the exisiting facility, I think parking will be out front of the building and the building will face the new Savannah that will be expanded for the DVC portion.

Ohhh.... It hurts just to think about it!

Truth is, we have lots of VWL points, and could not use ALL of them if we purchased VAKL and/or DVC in DL.

With that said, we will always keep enough VWL points to visit often!
