Hi!

Well, after returning this year ...We experienced the "NEW" busing system and it is horrible! So I decided to have a poll to see what everyone's experiences have been this year so far!!

Wow. I think I 'm the 3rd vote! I've never had this type of clout before!!!

I feel pretty.

Keep in Mind, Disney has not been able to get the Computers they were going to use to
work yet, it could get worse when they decide to use them.

One Note. Downtown Disney Routes is not in the New system as of right now, also Not all Disney Resorts are in the system ethier at the moment, that could change this fall when it gets slow again at Disney. The Disney Resorts that are in this system are the Busyier Hotels like the All Stars or Port Orleans, Caribean Beach Resorts, MK area hotels, Epcot area hotels.

There are some other problems with Downtown Routes namely weather related problems, whenever it Rains and Typhoon Lagoon Kicks all the Guest out of the park, It Floods the Exit road out of Typhoon Lagoon with Heavy Traffic, one day I counted just about every Bus on the
Downtown Routes were Stuck inside the Parking Lot waiting to get out. Disney does not want
to build a New exit road out over to the Team Disney Building which is next door, it just needs a Road-way to it or add another lane outbound, Hopefully with School starting now things at Typhoon Lagoon will calm down and won't be a factor come September.

By the way I voted the 3rd choice.

When did they allegedly roll out a new bus system? The first time we went to WDW (2/3/99) we used the busses and HATED it. (Best example MK EE morning, waited 20 minutes at 7:25 in the morning (then took a cab). During that same 20 minutes, 4 busses to Epcot went by Epcot wasnt even open!!!) Since then, (2 subsequent visits) we've alwyas used a car and have said each time it was the best decision we ever made.

I was at WDW in Feb '01 for 10 days, July '01 for 9 days and just got back Tues from a 6 day visit and I used WDW buses all the time---to be honest I did not notice any type of new bus system. During the course of these 3 recent visits we stayed at 5 different resorts and still did not notice anything different about the bus system, I did see a few of the new buses but we were never lucky enough to get one of the new buses, I just wanted to see what they looked like inside. The only thing different we saw was in the morning there was someone at the bus stop with a palm pilot punching in numbers and a few times they asked us which park we were going to, other than that everything seemed the same to us. No better, no worse, but we like WDW transportation so maybe that is why it seemed the same to us.
