Our 3 kids - jayhawks by birth- If they want to go to school and have it paid for - KU only - MU will cost them out of their own pockets

We cancelled our passes, so no parks for us, well, actually just Sea World.

We are thinking about getting Sea World passes this year. A little off topic - but I just saw on the news today that one of the 30 year old dolphins died while doing a jump with another dolphin during a show. Very sad!!

Have you been to Aquatica?? We are looking into that as well.

To answer the poll - we normally stay between 3 and 5 days and we rarely go to the parks during our Fort Wilderness stays. We do go to the parks often, just not while we are staying at the Fort - there is so much to do there.

We have a 20 night trip planned. We have APs so we will probably hit a park at some point each day, or not. This will be a laid back come and go kind of trip. We always go for at least 14 nights :thumbsup2

I heard that about the dolphin, what a shame.... you'd think they were tougher than that....

I LOVE a good blackened Fa..("Fa loves ma, Fa loves paw")

It doesn't matter whether we stay 3 nights or 14 nights -- we're in the parks every day! If it weren't for the parks, we wouldn't stay at FW.

Well, we're originally from Wichita hence the "shocker" dis name.

Does mommy's little darling want to be a WUSHOCK ?? :yay:

We like to stay at least 8 nights and we do the parks about 7 days. Way too many days at the park. This time when we go to the fort we are camping only, no parks.

WE are taking our first trip to the Fort this June. It will be 7 days with only 1 day NOT being spent at the parks. I'm already thinking that the next time will be a little longer with more time spent at FW

last time we did 6 nights 7 days, 4 days plus MNSSHP at parks. Way to busy.
this year we are doing 10 nights and planning half days in parks and dtd and maybe water park, but planning to take it easy and have very little schedual and lots of r&r.

I agree 100% :dance3:
but my dh and 1 of 3 kids take 2 or 3 of the 10 days and just hang back at the fort. They love to chill and find it very relaxing there. ::yes::
me? I'm all about the parks, just give a place to pass out at night :lmao:

For the first time ever for July 4th I'll be at the Fort without going to the parks.

We've done it differently every time. This last trip we were there 7 days and in the parks 7 days. Dh says we bought the tickets, we're gonna get our moneys worth. We would leave for the parks as early as we could and then stay until the park closed. That was way too much for me. Too tired. Our next trip is just at the fort. I'm trying to save for at least a few days in the parks, and maybe Sea World.
