There's no poll option that reflects my experience - so I'll reply long form.

We were a party of 5. Two of us experience some motion sickness in cars (backseat, or reading - mild unease, nothing major like vomiting) and we both have been FULLY SERIOUSLY miserable on cruises, to the point where we'd never risk one again. Two of us have no issues. One is older (69, history of epilepsy and heart attack - seriously stubborn and insisted on trying out the ride despite the rest of our opinions).

1. Cruise/car sickies had no issues.
2. One of the two Normies felt a little disoriented, but no upchuck, and got over it quickly.
3. Senior was in pretty rough shape, but no upchuck, and 30 mins in A/C with a soda fixed him up for the rest of the day.

The first time we rode it we had just eaten a late brunch so we were really full and afterwards I was a little wobbly and my fiancé was queasy. The second and third time we rode it, we didn't eat before hand and we were fine. I'm more prone to motion sickness than he is but that would be my advice. Don't go on with a full stomach.

This is really good to know. I don't typically have motion sickness, but I did once do a "scrambler" type ride and basically had to close my eyes to get through it. Sad, because as a kid I could (and did) ride those all day, but as an adult... apparently newp.

Basically, I'd say no matter what your history is, the ride is SO good, that you have to give it a try at least once. Set yourself up for success: ride mid-morning when you're not full, not tired, and it's (hopefully) not too hot (or late afternoon before dinner, but after a nap/resort break when you're equally fresh). Be prepared with motion sickness meds, maybe a ginger ale? and room in your plans to take a rest afterward if it does negatively affect you.

I can’t ride Teacups or Mission Space Orange, and Everest is starting to make me a tiny bit queasy especially after 2nd ride in short succession. Due to chatter on this board, I chewed one Bonine about an hour before our rides, and I was fine. I haven’t used Bonine for rides before. I also kept my vision towards the front of the car and didn’t try to turn my head to look elsewhere.

Go for it! Request row 1 for a slightly milder ride. I've ridden it a few times and can definitely feel the difference between the first row and last row.

I responded with I am not prone to motion sickness, but it made me upchuck. I didn't throw up, but I was sure sick for quite a few hours.

I responded prone to motion sickness but I was fine. BUT I should clarify that I was wearing a patch.

Rode 3x 2 weeks ago. Twice in a row on a Monday evening (purchased and then got first boarding during deluxe evening hours) The first time for the 2 in a row, I felt slightly nauseous and felt it was from trying to look at all the screens, which I didn't do 1st ride. So 2nd time I just focused on the ride itself and was fine.
Took Dramamine because I was nervous but had to try this ride, glad I did! It is SO much fun.
(EE gets me a little during backwards part, otherwise only here and there from certain rides, nothing major)

I have terrible motion sickness but can ride everything as long as I am medicated. I got off the ride wobbly and on the edge of queasy but it was worth it. We could have hopped back on for a second ride but I didn't want to push my luck.
