POLL: Coke or Pepsi?

Pepsi!

If I'm absolutely dying of thirst and the only thing around is Coke, I'll drink it, but I won't be at all happy about it. YUCK! I really don't like plain water, but I would pick that over Coke.

I am a Pepsi fan. But I will drink whichever is available. Around here when a waiter asks for what you would like to drink you say "Coke" for which ever they carry. It's a general use term meaning soda. I think it is funny when the waiters ask if Pepsi is ok.

Actually, if I had my druthers, it would be Royal Crown Cola for regular, and Diet Rite for diet. I don't drink soda that often though. If I was to choose between Coke or Pepsi, it would be Pepsi regular and Diet Coke for diet. I can't stomach Diet Pepsi for some reason.

Went to Pizza Hut this past weekend and ordered Pepsi since that is what they serve and I hadn't had one in awhile (thought it may have improved) NOPE - it was still yucky as ever!!

I don't drink very much soda, but if I do I will drink Coke or Pepsi, it doesn't matter to me. My mom can go either way, but my dad is STRICTLY PEPSI. My SO works for Coke and he is STRICTLY a Coke drinker, only Coke is allowed in our house. My dad and SO tease each other all the time about this.

Diet Coke for me!

I used to LOVE Diet Vanilla Coke, but they stopped making it. Now it's Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke or something. Yuck!

I much prefer Diet Pepsi but I'm not a zealot. I will drink Coke stuff if I have to but I really prefer tea.

I did like the Vanilla Coke that was out for a while. The Vanilla Black Cherry Coke they have now is just plain nasty IMO.

I'm kind of weird. I don't really care in some cases! For instance:

I will drink both diet Coke and diet Pepsi; Pepsi One is my actual favorite, but sometimes I just grab whatever is available or on sale.

I don't usually drink sugar soda, but when I do, I prefer Coke.

I feel consumer loyalty to Coca Cola products (my DH is a COKE fan all the way, no Pepsi for him), and yet I prefer the taste of Pepsi One to anything! I'm a nut, I know!

I voted for I will drink whatever is available. I really prefer a fountain Coke to Pepsi though but either will do if I'm thirsty enough.

I prefer Coke but I will drink Pepsi, it's not a big deal. My husband on the other hand is a Mt. Dew drinker so he would love it if the parks switched to Pepsi products. Most everything around here that has fountain drinks (restaurants, theaters, fast food) serve Coke products, which is odd because we have a Coke and a Pepsi bottling plant here, you would think they would be more evenly distributed. I know the chains are probably mandated from their home offices but the locally owned places wouldn't have that to contend with.

We are Coke all the way!! I even took one of those taste test things at Walmart and I told them that the one was gross (turns out that was the Pepsi) I knew I could do it!! If I am at a resturant and I order a coke and they ask if Pepsi is ok I will ask for a Mt Dew (only Pepsi product I like)
