Poll best week to go in Dec?

I'm thinking about Dec trip and would like everyones opinion on which week would be the least crowded. And I know theres something going on that month? Does any know what and When? Thanks Tina

We went last year the week of December 3rd through the 11th. It was perfect! Great weather and the crowds weren't too bad. This year, my family is going Nov. 30th through December 4th.

I voted for the last choice. That way you'll avoid Pop Warner.

Pop Warner is an event when thousands of football players, cheerleaders, and their families come to WDW for a superbowl. They mostly stay at value resorts but some stay at moderates. Usually the Friday night of the week they are there, MGM is closed down for everyone but them. I think the kids range in age from preteen to high school age. I believe they will be there the week of December 4th. There were rumors a while ago of them changing weeks, but I don't think that happened. If you do a search on these boards you'll find out a lot about it and some of the problems people have had with the kids behavior.

We went last year from Dec. 3-13 and it was practically perfect--the weather was unbelievable and crowds weren't too bad at all! Pop Warner was something we would try to avoid if going again but other than that it was great!

Does anyone have experience with the week after Thanksgiving? We usually go the first week of December but the AP's we bought last year expire 12/4/05, so we are going a week earlier this year.

I alternate each year to keep pace with Mousefest. This year it is Nov. 29 - December 4. Next year it will be later in December. And then the next year after that it will be again in early December. I believe they rotate it like that so people can purchase an Annual pass and use it 2 years to attend the Mousefest activities.

Going from the 5th to the 15th. Hopefully the huricanes won't cause people to delay their vacations til Dec.

You could not pay me to go the week that Pop Warner will be there. Now, I have not had any personal experience, but the stories you read about some of the stuff that goes one.....nope....not during my vacation. The week of 12/4 is indeed the week that shows on the Pop Warner Calendar.

I have to wonder if the poll takers are entering the weeks that they are going or if they are voting on the best week in reality. hmmmm Maggie
