Poll : Best CS burgers in MK, MGM, AK and Epcot?

Where can we find the best CS burgers in MK, MGM, AK and Epcot? My picky DH will only eat hamburgers (not cheeseburgers) at CS places. I am sure if it says cheesburgers on the menu they can make it plain...right?

hamburgers are pretty good everywhere there. My family likes the electric umbrella in epcot. The astro place and the place in frontier land have good hamburgers in Magic Kingdom. Not sure of the exact names..sorry!!

Cosmic Rays and Pecos Bill ??? are probably the places at MK you're talking about...MGM has Backlot Express and the burgers are good there. At AK, I've never seen burgers, I always eat at Tusker House, Flametree or Pizzafari.

Yes, the burgers at Peco's Bills in Magic Kingdom are the best! Cosmic Rays is also good in Magic Kingdom. For Epcot you can eat at the Electric Umbrella or the American Adventure cafe (not sure of the exact name). And at MGM- Rosa's All-American Cafe and the Backlot Express are the places that I remember serving burgers. Also- any place will make the cheeseburger a hamburger- my son is the same way!

I'm a burger freak too - so I can relate.

MK - The Plaza - hands down the best burger!
AK - I've never had a burger there!
MGM - I've never had a burger there, but everyone says Sci-Fi's are good.
Epcot - Electric Umbrella serves a nice burger

I agree, Peco's Bills in MK. Backlot in MGM. If you dont mind a short walk from Epcot, our favorite is Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club.

Peco's Bills hands down, the fix'ns bar is great!
It just makes the burger that more special.

I'm the same! All the CS restaurants that have Cheeseburgers on their menu will make a plain burger so don't worry!

Our top choices are:

MK - Pecos Bill's (DH loves the fixin's bar) and Cosmic Rays

Epcot - Electric Umbrella in FW & Liberty Inn in USA at the WS

Disney MGM - Backlot Express and ABC Commissary

AK - Restaurantasaurus (although I think this serves McDonald's from lunch onwards, IIRC)

Hello,

I am the biggest burger freak there is... A burger can't be too thick or too thin. It can't be cooked past Medium Rare, must be juicy. You get the idea.. I'm picky....

Whenever we go down - I always take at least one drive up to Sonic Burger near Universal. I think its the only reason I go to Florida. We don;t have them here on Long Island.

I know you are asking for CS. But I just can;t get myself to do it. I tried once and they just don;t measure up to the sitdowns... But I will at least try some of the recomended ones when I go back in Oct. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

If he is willling to try a Sitdown try:
House of Blues - loved it - my favorite so far. While you are there get the bread pudding.
ESPN on the Boardwalk - also very good. Get the nachos with chilli to complete the meal.
Hard Rock in Universal - good
Planet Hollywood - good
Angus Stakehouse on 192 - not bad.

MK--The Plaza, with Cosmic Ray and Pecos Bill a close second

MGM--SciFi is great. The burgers at ABC Commissary are TOXIC.. BAD BAD BAD

AK--no burgers at AK. Great counter service at Flame Tree and Tusker, but not
a place for good burgers.

Epcot--the grilled steakburger at LeCellier is probably the best burger in Disney.
As far as Electric Umbrella, see note above on ABC Commissary. IMO,
the American pavilion at Epcot is embarrassing to us Americans. All the
great international food in Epcot, and we have precooked hamburgers
under heat lamps.

Honorable Mention: Beaches and Cream, but not worth a special trip.
