Political: who else is sick of all the politics on both sides?

Honestly, I wasn't even anti-Bush until I started debating on here a lot! I supported Bush totally in the beginning. It weird how things have changed.

I (a Bush supporter) will always stand up for your right to disagree. Public debate is what made America, and will continue to make it strong. You are NOT a traitor! You are excercising your rights!

I just wish both parties would state their positions, back them up, and quit trying to dig up dirt on the other side! I hate all the mud slinging!

You know why there's so much negative advertising and mud slinging? It works. If America wouldn't allow their opinions to be swayed with these tactics, then they would stop, and quick.

We're essentially, as a country, getting what we deserve in regard to our politics.

This is so sad and so very, very true. We are only reaping the harvest of what we've sown in so many past political campaigns. I wonder if/when we'll hit bottom so we can start to climb out of this rut.
