Interesting. It didn't work this way for us at all. My poor dear son had to go take a walk to get his eggs to hatch![]()

Your eggs won't evolve based on travel distance while you are in a car, but you can still catch pokemon and get balls at pokestops, my husband had no trouble playing while he was the passenger and I was driving yesterday.Supposedly it's coded so that it can't be used while driving.
My kids are loving Pokemon GO so far - such a blast from their past - and I'm loving that there are actually Pokemon to find in the Disney Parks! How fun!Hey guys! Sorry if this is in the wrong board- mods, appreciate the move if so! -but I was curious- Pokemon GO just launched. Anyone at the parks see if there are interesting Pokemon to catch, Gyms/Pokestops at park locations, etc.?
I work for a video game company and our office turned out to be a Gym so it's been a pretty hot topic around here!
I obviously need to edit this. "Supposedly" doesn't that it is. Was hoping they would have thought about this potentially being a problem but guess not. We did use it in our car, couple days after it was released as well with me driving and DH playing, although I have to say its pretty annoying to have to slow down or wait a little longer at a stop for him to catch a Weedle sitting on the stop sign, lol.Supposedly it's coded so that it can't be used while driving.

Well we've already seen the shadow of the Yeti swinging on the EE monkey barsI love that EE is a gym!![]()
That's exactly what I'm worried about in the parks. I foresee lots of collisions and phones being dropped because somebody wasn't aware of their surroundings.Does this mean lots more people staring at their phones and not looking up ?
Short answer: YesSo, we're spending tons of money to take our kids to Disney, where there are a billion special things to see and do and experience in the real world, and they're walking around staring at their phone and chasing after imaginary virtual creatures?
