Points transfer - need advice

We are new to dvc.....(edited to remove specific details).......................... What is the best way to go about finding another member who has available points they would like to sell?....................................... is it hard to find point transfer that don't expire? Any use year advice would be helpful too.

I have purchased points for transfer with another member on 2 different occasions. Both times the transaction went great, once was a member that posted their points available on the transfer boards here on the DIS, and the other time it was an owner over on Mouse Owners rent trade board.

Just be sure to read the stickies at the top of the rent transfer board and familiarize yourself with the rules of how it works with resort and use year.

If UY is an issue, you can bank transferred points. You just can't transfer banked points. I have done that, needing points for the next year I have gotten a transfer then banked them. You just have to watch the banking deadline.
