Points tranferring and canceling ressie

I think some version of this question has been asked before but here is the situation. My friend has a DVC contract at BCV with an April UY (I think). I own at BWV with December UY. We decided we should get a 1 bedroom at BCV. Friend is going to borrow points to get the points so we avoid the problem of having to wait until 7 month window. Friend wants me to transfer my points for my share of one bedroom. My points are currently tied up with ressie for studio for same time period - about 8 months from now. I figure I would cancel ressie and transfer those points. So here are my questions

1. Can this be done?
2. The points I transfer will be 2006 UY from BWV - right?
3. Can Friend can bank my transferred points in their account?

Yes. Assuming the BWV points you are talking about are those you received in Dec 2006 then they would be the 2006 points you would transfer but you need to cancel your ressie first and you have to make sure you tell MS that you want to transfer 2006 points. Your friend can bank those BWV points after they have been transfered.

How best to do this depends on what you want to happen. I assume the current ressie is a back up in case this all falls through. If so, you must decide which is most important, getting the points transferred or having the backup ressie. Personally I'd cancel the studio then transfer the points prior to making the BCV ressie. You may find the transferred points take on the BCV home resort and therefore he doesn't have to borrow the points as planned.
