POINTS ? Tell me if I've got this right

If I were to buy 200 pts. tomorrow at AKV for April UY. Would I receive my 04/08 pts. and 200 developer pts. immediately? If so I would be wise to go ahead and bank the 2008 pts. (since I don't plan on going back this year) I could then for my May 2009 trip use my developer pts. and my banked 2008 pts. and go ahead and bank my 2009 pts. for use in 2010. Then in 2010 I would again have 400 pts. (2009 pts and 2010 pts) for use. Not until 2011 would I wind up with only my 200 pt. purchase to use. Hope that makes sense. So do I have it right? If so can the developer points be used anywhere on property or just at Saratoga, I've heard some being told only at Saratoga and others being told any DVC.

By George I think you've got it! As for the developer points use, it seems there are different rules based on where you purchase from. We purchased points last week from DL and the points were good anywhere. Check with your guide to make sure what the rules will be.
