Which UY do you have? I'm confused by the December 31, 2009 expiration date posted as I do not see a January UY listed on the DVC website. If you have a Dec UY, the points actually expire Nov 30 as a new set of points become available Dec 1.

If these points are from a Dec 2008 UY, will you consider transferring 6 points and renting the rest? I'm in search of 2008 UY points to complete an existing reservation with the few remaining 2008 UY points my account. I understand you can only do one transfer.

Please excuse my lack of knowledge. This is my first time using this site and I'm a little overwhelmed with the whole process. Let me explain my situation. We just purchased a new home base at HHI. Along with the 150 points we bought, we received 39 points that were carried over from 2008 (so I guess you are correct that they are from an 08 UY). The DVC people told me that I have to use these points by the end of 2009 or I'll lose them.

To answer your next question, YES, I would transfer 6 points and rent the rest. As I am new to whole operation, any advice you can give me to make this transaction happen would be greatly appreciated.
