We have 320 points for transfer, with use year ending September 2009. Would really prefer to transfer all points to one party. Pay pal accepted. Home resort is OKW.

I am looking to rent your points if they are still available. I'm new to this so may need a little guidance here. We would like a one bedroom (or studio if thats all thats avail) from 2/10/09 check out 02/15/09, at a nice Disney resort. Preferrably wilderness lodge but am flexible. We would also like to go on the 4 night cruise -disney wonder- on 02/15/09. Do your points also work for that? We are 2 adults and 2 kids, age 14 and age 9. If your points are not enough what do I do? Do I pay rest in cash or continue to try and rent more points from someone else?

Thankyou and I apologize for not knowing more!

Do you have to be a Disney Vacation Club member to rent someone's points? We are looking to take a vacation from 3/26/09 until 04/03/2009 and need around 321 points. We are not, however, DVC members.

Looking to rent 10 days 9 nights from april24 to may 3rd whith family of five 3 chilren ages 7,5,5. Dont know much about DVC if it was cheaper to rent here or get a package through disney itself. Any info would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks
Jim

jamgent3 - hope this is helpful. The advantages of the DVC program is that you can stay in accomodations with separate rooms from the kids, a kitchen so you can save on meals, and you can do laundry in your room.

If you want a two bedroom - you would need about 424 points, if you took off one of the weekend nights you get get down to 360 points. A one bedroom is about 314 points, it has a king bed and a pull out couch in the living room. Not sure if they would let you put five people in a one bedroom. Anyway - figure about $10 per point - so over $3,000 for the nine nights. If you rented straight from disney - say at Old Key West, a studio (similar to hotel room) would be $350 per night, a one bedroom would be $445 per night and the two bedroom would be $650 per night. So you can see - the DVC route gets you a price in the $3,000 - $3500 range, but instead of just a studio with two beds, you get a one or two bedroom condo type room with kitchen and laundry.

So that was a long answer. Sometimes you can find points for less than $10, but you might want to look for someone who is renting (not transfering) and look for someone who has a least 300 - 360 points.

Good Luck

Do you still have your points available? We are looking for a 2BR March 28th or 29th -April 4th? Would prefer OKW but any resort would work.
Thanks you
