Points/cash stay and DDP?

In Oct, we are staying with points (2nites) and cash over the weekend (2 nites), then back to points (2nites). So we have 3 confirmations that MS explained they have linked for me.

Is it possible to purchase the DDP for just one of the confirmations? In other words for one of the 2 night stays?

I hadn't thought about this before , because purchasing the dinning plan for all our nights is too much for us... sometimes we don't feel like a big meal...but if we could purchase for some ..

My understanding is that if all the reservations are through MS and it's all linked, it's treated as ONE stay. You might be able to unlink something but you'd have to check in again and could have to move.
