I have a question about point transfer between 2 contracts from different resorts. I currently have a contract from AKV with an October use year. I want to purchase a BWV contract with an October use year via resale. Can I transfer points from my BWV contract to my AKV contract? If so, if I transfer points from my BWV contract to AKV and I'm booking a reservation at AKV at 11 months out, when can I used the transfered BWV points? Are the BWV point available to me immediately to book the AKV reservation or do I have to wait until 7 months out since I'm using BWV points and that is my home resort for those points. I hope this all makes sense.

you can only use your BWV points for stays at the BWV at 11 months..and your AKV points for stays at AKV at 11 months...you can't "transfer" points between 2 locations you own to use all points all 11 months.......at the 7 month mark you can use the BWV points to book at AKV...hope i understood your question and this helps;)

If both of your contracts have an October use year, Member Accounting can combine them under one membership number...if you request it prior to closing, them there would be no need to formally transfer. The contracts/deeds must also be titled identically.

Whether you need to transfer or not, only AKV points can be used at AKV at 11 months, and only BWV points can be used at BWV at 11 months. They can be combined at 7 months.

Also, if you book at AKV at 11 months out, you can not "swap" the reservation to BWV points at 7 months out, it would be a cancel and re-book, based upon availability. To simply swap them would defeat the owner priority window and any members on a waitlist.
