DH & I have been interested in DVC for a while. One thing I have not been able to find is the cost of the yearly dues based on per point. I know I could call the TSS-but this is preliminary research. I like to mull things over and take it slow with big expenses.
Could someone/anyone tell me what you pay at OKW, SSR or BWV?

TIA-
Cindy M.

Annual maintenance fees average around $4.00 per point at all DVC resorts. Some are n the hugh three dollar range and some go to around $4.25, so figure $4.00 as an average. Soemone will be along shortly to post the actual figures for you. Enjoy your DVC planning - it's one of the best purchases I've made!!!

SSR = $3.83 per point
OKW = $3.86 per point
HHI = $4.04 per point
BCV = $4.27 per point
VWL = $4.35 per point
BWV = $4.41 per point
VB = $4.87 per point

And of course those will change for 2006... a good rule of thumb is to add 3% each year (but it can be more or less). Sometimes they even lower the MN fees. They can only be based on actual expenses so DVC can't increase fees for profit. Also note that part of the fees go towards taxes so it is possible that you could deduct part of the dues on your income tax return.

with magical express added this year and gas prices expect to see more than 3 percent this year. disney says me is free but someone has to pay for it.
we just have to wait and see i hope im wrong

PB'MOM, If you have been considering DVC and you are interested in SSR, NOW would be a good time to buy!. Did you see the current offer? $83.75 per point? You just need a referral from a current DVC member or give a curent DVC member's name when you call. If you have already called, call back and ask about it with a members name as a referral to get the offer. If it's not SSR you want then forget it. It's just for that resort.

Our dues go for Administration of the resort (front desk, maint, housekeeping, buses) and a percentage for future building. Charging the DVC members to pay for ME is illegal. For that matter, so would be charging DVC members to build a new park. Disney isn't stupid enough to get a class action lawsuit that they couldn't win by violating the dues contracts.
