We have a Dec UY. I would like to make a ressie for Dec 09. If I want to use my 08 points do I need to bank? If so, should I do that prior to making the call for my ressie? Thanks!

Yes, you would have to bank them. You could bank them at the same time as you call or do it ahead of time. If you are trying to get a "hard to get" reservation at 11 months, I would do it the day before so you don't waste time in the banking process.
