POFQ to AKL or Dolphin?

We're contemplating doing breakfast at either Boma (AKL) or Fresh (Dolphin) for my dad's birthday. From what I understand, the best (only?) bus option would be to take a bus to a park and then to the resort. So I want to compare the time vs. cost of taking a cab.

Does anyone know approx. prices of going from POFQ to AKL and POFQ to Dolphin via taxi?

Also, is there any option besides 2 taxis for a party of 7 (6 adults & 1 toddler)?

I am one of the biggest supporters of using Disney transport, but even I would suggest just going with a cab for most resort-to-resort trips for breakfast. While there are buses going to all of the parks early in the morning, getting from the parks to resorts at that time can be a bit dicey. Yes, a driver going to AK from POFQ may drop you at AKL if you ask, but they may not. Once you are at AK, then, you basically have to hope that you can find a bus that is going to AKL or will make a stop there. You'll likely be able to work something out, but it can be a hassle and take longer than usual.

Yes, the taxi vans should be able to squeeze in your entire party, and they cost the same as the traditional sedan cabs. Ask the resort staff to get you one.

POFQ to Dolphin approx $9-$11 plus tip, 10 minutes
POFQ to AKL approx $16-$18 plus tip, 15 minutes
Have bell services get you a van, shouldn't be a problem.

Another voice would be bus to DHS and walk to the dolphin. Access to DHS or EPCOT is easier from the dolphin.

I would take the boat from the Studios to the Dolphin. It's a 15-20 minute walk.

At a park before 11 AM you need to find a but platform supervisor and request a bus back to a resort.

If the boat is not just arriving at Hollywood Studios, it is usually quicker to walk to the Dolphin.
