POFQ or Swan/ DOlphin??

WHich is better for a family with 4 boys (11-5)? We've mostly stayed at the Monorail resorts, but this time need to try something cheaper. We have to go at Peak season, spring break, since there are 4 kids in school and I'm a teacher. I've never been to either PO or Swan / Dolphin, so your expertise will be appreciated.

POFQ definitely interests me more since it looks prettier, calmer and a good place to run around. However, we'd have to bus to everywhere and only the one restaurant on site.

S/D looks BIG to me and harder to let the kids explore. (I could be wrong.) However, we like the idea of walking to Epcot for dinner. Plus, as a teacher I should be able to get a decent rate.

Never stayed at POFQ, but have stayed at Swan and Dolphin(got teachers discount for xmas 2003-4 for $149 at Swan). Swan and Dolphin have alot to offer: great pools, many restaurants in the 2 resorts and within walking at boardwalk, easy access to epcot and mgm by boat or bus and even walk to epcot. We are dvc members and just chose to stay there and rent out our OKW points that year and never regretted it. Everyone at Swan was great and we upgraded to CL and had great breakfast and afternoon hors d'heurves each day. We stayed at dolphin last xmas day before we checked into dvc and it is a lot bigger than swan, but we enjoyed it also. There is no less MAGIC at these resorts than any disney resort and we are disney veterans. Look out for the teacher discounts to see if they are offering them again.
