Next month, my family and I are doing a WDW, DCL, WDW vacation. For the first leg of our trip we are staying at AKL. Then we are switching to POR for 1 night (to see DS and Yehaa Bob), then heading to Port Canaveral for our cruise and a day at Kennedy Space Center. After our cruise, we are staying 1 more night and hitting MK one more time.
I had decided to try SSR as a little splurge and to work on my life goal of staying at every WDW resort. I was all set to stay at SSR, but in my over-planning and over-researching, I'm over-thinking everything! It will be me, my DH, and our DD13. We have stayed at POFQ a few times, so we know it and love it.
Staying at SSR, my DD will have to sleep on the pull out sofa. I've read reviews that say the pull out sofa is terribly uncomfortable. I know, she's only 13, but I'd hate for her to not be able to sleep that last night. At POFQ she would have her own bed and she loves the beds there. For anyone who has slept on the pull out sofa, are they really bad? I know she will probably be exhausted and could sleep on the floor if that was the only option, but I want her to be comfortable.
I've also read that the busses at SSR are terrible. We will be getting off the cruise and heading to the hotel, and then we have a 1215 ADR at BOG for lunch. I'm nervous with the busses at SSR that we won't make our ADR, or we'll feel rushed. For some reason the busses at POFQ don't worry me like they're worrying me at SSR. Are the busses that bad at SSR? Do they have the bus stop monitors with the bus ETA's at all the stops at SSR?
Someone please help me decide!
