Hello - we are going to POFQ. I want a non-smoking room as close as possible to the main building. We have a new baby we are traveling with. I am concerned about getting to the main building for shopping, food etc if it is raining with the baby and the stroller. I called today and they suggested building 4. I care way more about convenience than I do about view. What do you think?

4 and 5 are close to everything, including the pools....

I stayed in building 4 in May-right next to the main building and even a nice short cut to the bus stop BUT...I had requested and received a top floor room-nice and quiet but those stairs were long at the end of a full day and the elevator was at the complete other end of the building.

For my family trip next week I've requested "non smoking, first floor, close to food court".

Have a great trip!

We stayed in Building 3 and it was pretty much as "connected" to the main building as you could get! You did have to walk outside for a second but were near the arcade doors in a matter of seconds! Enjoy your stay..

The French Quarter is my FAVORITE moderate resort!!

Request a 1st floor room in building #: 5, as this is a non-smoking building and is close to everything.

You certainly won't want Bldg 7!

We just got back and stayed in building 7 :guilty: its far from everythign but on the bright side it was closest to POR :thumbsup2 POFQ is so small you are close even if you are far. it took us maby 5 minutes to walk to the main building.

We stayed in building 3 with parking lot view on the third floor. We had a corner room. The bus stop was farther but the food court and main building were vey close.

Building 4 will be great for you. We stayed there on our last trip and requested it again on our upcoming trip. The bus stop, pool, and food court were all within 5 minutes from our room. It was very convenient with all the kids in our party. You will love POFQ :thumbsup2

We stayed in Building 4 last year and it is definately the closest to both the main building and the bus stops!

Ok so how about if you want non-smoking, and very quiet? Kid is 14 so stairs not an issue. It sounds small so dont care how close to food court. Will have car so dont care how close to bus stop. Would like to see river. Help experts---building and floor choice??????????????

we stayed in building 7 and never saw anyone near our room and this was last week when it was busy....... yes its farthest from the bus and pool and foodcourt but the resort is so small its seriously a 5 minute walk. we had a standard room facing the parking lot but it had shrubs in front of it so cars were not our view. I would just book a standard room and ask for somthing facing the water. i think all the preferrerd rooms face the pool and are near the foodcourt. the place is honestly maby 1/4- 1/3 the size of coronado springs or carribean beach that anywhere you will be fine..
