My DBF and I stayed at CSR in May. He LOVED the Peppermarket.
When we booked our vacation for March 2012 at POFQ he keeps saying that he wants to go to CSR every morning for breakfast!!! :confused3

I keep telling him this is impossible and is really going to drive me nuts if he does this!

Can anyone compare these 2 food courts. We will always be doing breakfast at the food court and maybe a dinner or 2. We will also have a 7 year old and a 18 month old with us. Is there a good selection for children? I've read the whole menu, but I'm looking for your personal opinions.

We've stayed at both. Personally, I really liked CSR for breakfast because I felt like they had a wider selection. FQ was definitely good and we don't have any complaints, but I think you'll be able to find something for everyone.

I agree that it'll be a huge pain to get over to CSR for breakfast. Easiest way would probably be taking a bus to DTD and then over to CSR?

We enjoyed their dinner selections at FQ. They had a lot to offer. We only did breakfast over at Peppermarket so I can't compare.

food court is small consistent with the size of the resort. I haven't stayed at CSR but our one time at a Value the food court had many more selections.

Furthermore, my family doesn't eat large breakfasts. We usually get beignets or croissants or sometimes I get fresh fruit. (Ask for the fresh strawberries and raspberries if they have them.)

A closer option would be the POR food court. It has a larger breakfast selection and it will be much more convenient than CSR with or without a car.

Unless you plan on eating a very late breakfast or have a car there will be no good way to get to CSR for breakfast and hit the parks early. Don't try DTD- buses to resorts from there are very sporadic (read hardly ever running) in the early morning hours. You will have to go to a park and then wait for a bus returning to the CSR- most of the time they will have to call a specail bus for you as regular return service doesn't start until at least 10am- (I go to the parks at opening and ride 1-2 rides on our last day and need to have a bus called for me almost every time). By the time you can get to CSR I would guess it will be at least 9:30 and that is if you leave POFQ by 8am.

This was my first thought. The Pepper Market is my favorite food court too, but PORS is a close second. As much as I like the Pepper Market there is no way I'd try to get over there for breakfast. It'd just take too long at that time of the morning. On the other hand, PORS food court would be a very pleasant walk along the river or bus ride over from POFQ and they have alot of very good choices. If he really wants to go over to Pepper Market, how about running over there for lunch or dinner from a park. We usually eat at the Pepper Market on our DS day, whether or not we are staying at CSR. We make a special trip over there every trip just for their chicken nachos, steak, and blue cheese burgers.:rotfl:

You can go over to POR because it has a wonderful Food court with great choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. POR is right next door to POFQ. We walked over to POR from POFQ several times while staying at POFQ because the FC was so much better. We've stayed at CSR, POFQ and POR and think that POR FC is the best out of all of them. POR FC is not as complicated as the PepperMarket and you won't have to pay a tip to eat there
at the FC. Riverside mill has a Create-your own Omelet and Create your own Parfait.
