Hi! Do all the corner rooms at POFQ have a King bed and/or are they handicap accessible? Any info appreciated.:D

We had a corner room before the rehab. It was a water view facing the river in building 4. The room had two queen beds. I don't know if all of the corner rooms are the same, though.

When we made reservations for POFQ for our vacation in June I was told we could not have a corner room because there were 3 of us and corners only had King beds. I'm not sure about them being handicap accessible or not tho.

We stayed at POFQ in May and my Mom had the room beside us it was a corner room in building four it had 2 beds.

We just came back from the POFQ..
We had a corner room in building 5 and it was a King bed. it was not handicapped accessable because I could have used it. We were 20 feet away from the food court. Hubby thought he died and went to Heaven..
chatty

Chatty, I am a little confused..Are you saying that this was a normal King room and was not handicapped accessable, ie.no raised toilet or roll in shower? Thanks so much. Was it on Ground floor? Could you please give me the room number? Thanks so much. I have mobility issues and need desperately to be near food court etc. Hubby needs a king bed. I prefer roll in shower but can do without it. I would appreciate any info you could give me on this room. Thanks a bunch.:wave2:

We stayed at POFQ two weeks ago in room 3333 (bldg. 3), it was a corner room with two doubles. So my assumption is that all corner rooms are not king rooms.

Adding two cents and agreeing with above poster. Not all corner rooms are King size beds.

Stayed in April in corner room in building 6 (I believe) and had two double beds. We had son with us then and needed the two beds but I tell ya, going next month, just DH and me, and specifically made request for a room with Kings size bed because I was falling out of that double. We are not really wide people but tall and are used to our Queen's size bed. Sleeping in a double bed was the only "bad" thing about staying in Port Orleans. :p
