POFQ Air conditioning?

Does the resort have the Units by the window or is it central? I love a cool room to sleep in so will I be climatlly satisfied?

I think I remember a thermostat, but I will say that between whatever cooling they used and the ceiling fan I had no problem getting that room pretty frigid in September (very hot and humid). It was one of the few times where I actually got to snuggle under the covers since I got the room so cold.


I was solo so I got to control the tempeture and I like it COLD.

Great thing about solo trips, tempeture control and no one to change my tv stations. That's a vacation all in it's own.

I'm pretty sure that they have the below the window units, and they're plenty powerful enough to put a chill on you, no matter how hot and humid it is outside. As the PP noted, when you combine that with the ceiling fan, I think you'll be plenty climatically satisfied.

The recent refurb at POR and POFQ was adding the thermostat control for exact temperatures, in lieu of the old hot/warm/cool/cold settings.

It is very easy to set the room nice and cool.

The added advantage of the ceiling fan is also great. I know when I am on vacation, I also like it somewhat cool, so I can use the comforters.
